How Squadbase handles your data and AI training policies
Your Data Is Not Used for AI Training
Squadbase does not use your data for the purpose of training or improving AI models.
Databases connected to Squadbase, uploaded files (such as Excel or CSV), and the contents of generated dashboards are never used as training data for any AI model. This applies to both Squadbase's AI coding agent and integrations with third-party AI providers.
Data Collected and Processed by Squadbase
Squadbase processes the following data solely for the purpose of providing its services.
User Data
- Account information (name, email address, etc.)
- Service usage logs (operation history, access timestamps, etc.)
Customer Business Data
- Schema information and query results from connected databases
- Contents of uploaded files (Excel, CSV, etc.)
- AI conversation history (retained for dashboard generation context)
- Generated dashboards and their configuration data
This data is used solely for providing service functionality and is never sold to third parties or repurposed for AI model training or improvement.

How AI Processes Your Data
Dashboard generation in Squadbase follows this flow:
- You instruct the AI on the analysis you need
- The AI references your data schema and generates code
- The code is executed in an isolated, secure environment
- Results are rendered as a dashboard
Throughout this entire flow, your data is limited to processing within the service. We provide our services under contracts with external AI providers that prohibit the use of data for training purposes.
Privacy Policy Compliance
Squadbase manages data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, based on the following principles:
- No use beyond stated purposes — Collected data is used only for the purpose of providing services
- Principle of least privilege — AI agents operate with the minimum necessary data access permissions
- Data transparency — Generated SQL queries and processing steps are visible to customers
- Access management — Customers control who can access which data
- Right to data deletion — Customer data is properly deleted upon account deletion
Data Sharing with Third Parties
Squadbase does not sell customer data to third parties. While data may be processed through infrastructure providers (such as AWS) necessary for service delivery, appropriate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are in place, and the use of data for AI training purposes is prohibited.
