Snowflake (AWS PrivateLink)

Connect your Squadbase applications and editor to Snowflake over a private network using AWS PrivateLink. This is one of the private network connection methods Squadbase offers — and the only one supported out of the box today.

All data traffic between Squadbase and Snowflake travels entirely within the AWS private network — completely bypassing the public internet. This lets you use Squadbase confidently with sensitive data and under the strict security requirements of enterprise environments in industries such as finance and manufacturing.

Before You Begin

Private network connectivity is provided as an individually contracted add-on. When you open PrivateLink from the settings menu in the left sidebar, you will initially see a feature overview and a Contact Us button rather than a setup screen. To get started, submit your request from that screen or via the contact form. Pricing is based on an individual quote according to your usage.

The following prerequisites must be met:

• Squadbase plan: Team plan or above is required.
• Snowflake edition: Business Critical or above is required. AWS PrivateLink is only available on this edition and higher.
• Snowflake admin access: ACCOUNTADMIN privileges in your Snowflake account and the ability to contact Snowflake Support are required.
