Squadbase AI features run on AI Credits.
AI Credits are consumed when you send messages to AI, generate apps, and perform other AI-powered actions.
How AI Credits Work
Squadbase AI Credits are a single shared pool for your whole team and reset at the start of each billing cycle.
Your monthly allowance is the sum of a base amount of credits per user across your creator seats. All members draw from the same pool, so heavy and light users balance out automatically.
You can check the remaining balance and the next reset date on the usage screen.
What Determines Usage
AI Credit consumption is primarily determined by two factors:
- Number of creator seats in your organization — each plan includes a base amount of credits per user, so more seats means a larger shared pool (see Billing & Plans)
- AI model used — Each model requires a different number of Credits. Lightweight models consume fewer; high-performance models consume more
Differences by Plan
The core mechanics of AI Credits are the same across all plans. Each plan includes a base amount of credits per user per month, and your team shares a single pool. The base amount per user varies by plan.

Actual usage varies across all plans depending on your organization's activity and the models used.
AI Credits availability is managed on a usage basis, not as a fixed number of messages.
Long operations or high-performance models may consume more AI Credits. Additionally, since different models require different amounts of Credits, the models available to you may differ depending on your remaining balance.
Purchasing Additional Credits
You can purchase additional credits directly from the billing settings in the app. This lets you top up your shared pool without waiting for the next billing cycle when you reach your limit.
Your credits also refresh automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
