What is Squadbase?

It’s undeniable that large language models (LLMs) are bringing irreversible change to our lives. Among those changes, we focus on how LLMs are transforming the software people use every day at work—business software. LLMs’ coding abilities are well known; every new model release touts coding benchmarks. As those capabilities advance, we’re entering an era where anyone can quickly obtain the software tools they envision.

This movement—widely known as “vibe coding”—has largely been limited to personal projects and websites. By creating business-software-specific building blocks, Squadbase aims to bring this movement into everyday business operations and fundamentally update how professionals relate to their software.

When anyone can freely build business software, there’s no need to compromise with the limited features of off-the-shelf SaaS. Teams can dramatically boost productivity with tools that fit their workflows perfectly. By automating those tools with AI and collecting error logs so AI can autonomously fix issues and ship updates, we believe we can deliver a step-change beyond merely “using software.”

To realize this vision, Squadbase is building AI agents for LLM-based business software development, along with a cloud platform to run and operate the software you create.

What is a Marketing Engineer at Squadbase?

What Squadbase enables is a brand-new experience: using AI to build the business software you want—and continually improve it.

However, many of us are accustomed to the passive stance of “buying off-the-shelf software and adjusting our work to fit it.” As a result, the biggest barrier to realizing the Squadbase experience is, perhaps surprisingly, simply coming up with ideas for what to build.

A Marketing Engineer at Squadbase develops showcase apps and starter templates—open-source sample applications that demonstrate “the kind of excellent business software you can build with AI”—and publishes them to the world.

Through these efforts, your mission is to inspire as many people as possible to think “I want to try this” or “I want to build something like this,” and help them create their first app.
