Microsoft Entra ID login is now available

Squadbase now supports sign-in with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). With a Microsoft account, your teams can securely access all internal apps on Squadbase using the same identity. It also connects to apps built with Next.js and Streamlit, letting you unify your authentication platform on Entra ID.

The foundation needed for internal app development, security, and operations in the AI era

AI and vibe-coding are accelerating how quickly internal apps are created. While this speed creates value, maintaining separate credentials for each app increases the chance of implementation mistakes and data leakage, and operational overhead grows quickly. Our goal is to keep organizational trust and governance strong even as the number of apps rises. To achieve this, authentication must be centrally managed, and supporting Entra ID—one of the most widely used enterprise identity platforms—was the most effective path.

Addressing enterprise challenges

With this update, authentication can be consolidated on Entra ID. From the Squadbase dashboard, you can freely control how access rights are assigned to each app, and align changes with onboarding, transfers, and offboarding. Existing enterprise policies such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and passwordless sign-in can be applied consistently across apps, minimizing exceptions.

You can also retain user analytics and audit trails without adding any code: see which apps each user uses and how much, and track who accessed which app and when. Because individual apps no longer need their own user databases or password storage, you reduce the risk of secrets sprawl. Developers can redirect time from building and maintaining authentication to building business value, and moving from prototype to production no longer requires re-implementing auth. End users benefit from a single sign-in and a consistent, secure experience across apps.
